Abstract
In this study, we attempted to evaluate the physical properties of the energy-saving aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen developed to achieve more energy savings by enhancing the thermal insulating function of the existing aluminum thermal insulation curtain. The physical properties such as tensile strength, tearing strength, shading rate, air permeability, thermal insulation ratio, as well as water vapour permeability were analyzed using heterogeneous aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen, heterogeneous non-woven fabric, ground mat, and heterogeneous mart of nonwoven variety. In this experiment, in finding the optimal energy-saving aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen through the superiority of each sample, the weaving thread mart B[600D] of 4mm type aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen and the weaving thread mart B[600D] of 5mm type aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen were shown to be excellent considering tensile and tearing strengths, and the weaving thread mart B[600D] of 5mm type aluminum multi-layer thermal insulation screen that has a higher thermal insulation ratio of 1.3% as well as a lower water vapour permeability of 223 g/㎡ 24 h was determined to be adequate considering the thermal insulation ratio.
