In this study, improvement design of collecting device of jujube collector was performed for enhancing versatility and reducing work-load. Length of collecting rod and installation angle which satisfying with the crown diameter of domestic jujube trees were derived through the improvement design. Planting spacings and crown diameter were derived through the literature review. Minimum installation angle of the collecting rod was derived using the manufactured sliding test device. Also, simulation analysis was conducted for deriving an appropriate installation angle of the collecting rod. As a result of simulation, appropriate installation angles of the collecting rod-1, 2, 3, 4 were calculated as 18°, 21°, 25°, 29°, respectively. The length of modified collecting rod can be changed from 1,300 mm to 1,800 mm. Collecting diameter of the jujube collector also can be changed 3,000 ~ 4,000 mm.
