Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop an electric motor controller for agricultural work using simulation. The electric driving agricultural machinery was operated by the electric motor should cope with the high load during the operation. The output torque of electric motor was controlled by PID control algorithm. A simulation model of PID controller was developed by commercial software, Simulation X and it used the workload as simulation condition. The settling time and overshoot of PID controller were turned out to be 20 sec and 1.1 respectively. Those values were also reduced by 40% and 43% compared to before tuning the controller. When the developed controller was applied to the simulation model, the torque was within 3% of error at the working section. The validation of this controller against a real platform should be required to assess its performance.
